Food & Beverage

Food and beverage production places extremely high demands on hygiene, safety, and process consistency. From raw material receiving, mixing, and cooking to filling, packaging, and clean in situ (CIP), every step requires precise monitoring of flow rate, pressure, level, and temperature.

Flow meters are typically used for ingredient dispensing, liquid transfer, and cleaning validation, while pressure sensors support process control and equipment protection.

By providing accurate process data, instrumentation helps manufacturers improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure consistent product quality throughout the production cycle. This is especially true in beverage filling equipment, where precision is paramount.

Raw Material Dispensing and Metering: Precise measurement of liquids (water, oil, syrup, milk) and vapors ensures formulation consistency. Utilizes the HNF60 electromagnetic flow meter.

CIP/SIP Cleaning Systems: Monitor flow rate, pressure, and temperature during the cleaning cycle to ensure cleaning effectiveness and save on chemicals. Utilizes the HNP40 sanitary pressure transmitter.

Filling and Packaging Lines: High-precision flow control suitable for beverages, sauces, dairy products, and ready-to-eat foods. Utilizes our HNF00 series ultrasonic flow meters with a non-contact design. Fermentation and brewing: Tank level and temperature monitoring; carbon dioxide recovery flow measurement. We recommend our HNL100 ultrasonic level gauge or HNF110 radar level gauge for continuous level monitoring and better control of tank conditions.

Dairy processing: Sanitary flow meters for milk, cream, yogurt, and whey – easy to clean and inspect.

Food processing wastewater: Flow and level measurement in pretreatment and discharge lines (oil-compatible). We recommend our HNF60 electromagnetic flow meter.
